KING SALMON (Chinook)
JUNE - JULY 31
The Kenai River is home to the largest strain of Chinook Salmon in the world
and proud holder of the WORLD RECORD weighing 97.25 pounds. KENAI KINGS average 40 pounds,
with hundreds taken each season in the 50 to 70 pound class.

SILVER SALMON (Coho)
AUGUST - SEPTEMBER
Pound for pound, the greatest fighting salmon in the Pacific Ocean. Silvers
range between 8 and 20 pounds and provide great sport for the flyrod, spin caster and bait
fisherman ... plus great tablefare!

RED SALMON (Sockeye)
JULY - AUGUST 15
These are the flyrodder's and spincaster's delight, with thousands being
caught every day on bucktail and coho flies. The Red Salmon weigh in from 6 to 12 pounds.

PINK SALMON (Even
numbered years)
AUGUST 1 - SEPTEMBER 1
The perfect fish for everyone - pro and novice alike. Weighing from 4 to 10
pounds, pinks storm the river by the thousands and aggressively hit almost any bright
colored lure that moves.

HALIBUT
JUNE - SEPTMBER
Bottom fishing for the giant "Chicken of the Sea" can be the
thrill of a lifetime and you'll be fishing in Cook Inlet right where the 466 pound WORLD
RECORD was recently caught.
